Would I offer a Homeless person some coffee?
well, I may not offer him coffee..I would prolly buy him a sandwich though..Prolly.
But given the question, I must use this opportunity to explain something that happenned way back.
There was this alcoholic homeless person who played the guitar.Given the fact that i am musically inclined , I kinda stood there and talked to him and gave him some money after that.
you know what happenned later?
Some days later, he actually followed me and found out my residence..He wanted money badly, I suppose ..gosh..
He waited for me around the time i usually come back home and asked me for money.. gosh !Seriously.It freaked the hell out of me that he knows my home now..whoa.
If such things happen, you start thinking twice before helping them.
The sad part is , many of them have addiction issues, alcohol, drugs and such.. Which prolly is also the primary reason they became homeless and are on the street too.
So given the fact that you are a female , it was a smart move to call 311 so that they could pick him up instead of you directly helping him.

Hmmmm…
My personal opinion is that this kind of gender stereotyping doesn’t apply anymore.
With more and more women getting jobs and becoming financially independant.. there has come a levelled play field.
Earlier, only men earned money, so there was a subconscious money power.. While, the women looked for men who can provide well—and in many cases it meant, getting married to someone they were not attracted to.. So, they tried to pacify themselves back then saying that they ‘love’ the husband they are not attracted to ..
The truth of the matter is, IF YOU TRULY LOVE SOMEBODY, , physical attraction is inevitable..chemistry is part of true love..Otherwise it is just a convenient arrangement.

Nowadays, with more and more women not needing to marry men whom they are not attracted to just for the money.. both men and women are starting to people that they love but at the same time are attracted to in some way..
So all this MAN LOVES A CERTAIN WAY AND WOMAN LOVES A CERTAIN WAY was all a result of unequal social standing of yesteryears which is fast getting obscure.

The secret to effective studying is to forgive yourself for not recalling fast enough or at all

The thing is,,when you are registering a good 200 facts or more per hour, the recall may take a long time, or won’t happen at all..And should not make you feel all dejected.. It is normal, absolutely normal to not remember things that you read an hour ago..RElax, take a breath and look it up again.. that is the only way to make sure that you eventually remember it .
